Cobalt puts research at the core of who we are, supporting clinical research trials. A multidisciplinary research team works collaboratively on clinically impactful research. The team’s commitment to producing novel research has developed relationships with external research teams.
Job purpose
Cobalt is proud to provide the opportunity for a radiography student to undertake a research internship. The successful candidate will work as part of an experienced clinical research team, providing administrative support on a large research project.
Job specifications
- Term time role with the option to extend into holiday periods if desired
- 7.5 hours per week at Band 3 ad hoc as per project requirement
- Initial 3-month period with the option to extend
- Start date: TBC linking with data collection in a large project
Key responsibilities at Cobalt
- Work under the direction of the clinical research team
- Pull clinical history from participant files
- Collate and anonymise data
- Anonymise participant images
Required skills and experience
- Current enrolment in BSc. Diagnostic Imaging or similar in second year of study
- Strong interest in research
- Excellent team working skills
- Comfortable working with MS Excel
- High attention to detail
- Organisational skills
- Ability to work to deadlines
